As you journey down the path of life you will encounter a myriad of experiences and happenstances, all of which play a part in molding you into the person you are today – and the person you will become in the future. Life is an amazing journey indeed. It is continually riddled with a complexity that includes moments of both heartache and joy. And yet, it is what we choose to do with these moments that defines who we are and who we will become.

Optimal physical health can never be reached if you are emotionally unhealthy. This retreat helps you honor and release all of the negative emotions and coping strategies that we tend to hold on to and that do not serve us well. I had no idea what I was getting into when I showed up for the first retreat. Now I cannot wait for the second one. Dr. Carolyn has a big heart and an amazing gift of helping people heal and I am very thankful for her.
